People don’t like edges. Not sane and grounded people. By definition they ARE grounded, because an edge constitutes the very end of ground itself and they are not near.
Those that do approach tend to get edgy being on the cusp of being ‘grounded’ or airborne
Where a small fracture of crumbled ground beneath your feet could well lead to being airborne and demise on the rocks so very far below as to make you want to puke.
….as for sanity, who’s to know? A Mass and somewhat common insanity, could, given it’s proper momentum, be defined as sanity no matter how abstract or demented, and thereby shift the dynamic of Norm.
